Hawley
Estate has been the cherished family
home of the Houghtons since 1948 - three generations. The
property was opened to visitors in 1988 by
Simon and
is fortunate to have the total commitment of generation three,
Sophie,
Marc, Melissa (& Ratty) Houghton, who bring skills they have
developed specifically for the benefit of the
property.

Sophie
with her Shadow
runs the vineyard and the winemaking whilst overseeing the
house, financial matters and is the
Wedding Co-ordinator.

Marc
is the catering manager
for both Hawley House and the Gingerbread House, pictured here with
his best mate Juniper. Marc is based
at Hawley's Gingerbread House.

Simon
can be found drifting aimlessly in the garden and has been
designated head gardener (to give him some purpose).
He is yet
to earn his own dog.

Ratty
(pictured here with
Brock) has lived at Hawley since he was 4 weeks of age and spends
his time looking after himself. Unlike the other key people in the
organisation he doesn't hide behind a dog.
He instead has a team
of four dedicated personal assistants.
